Core Working Principle: The seed gravity separator utilizes the combined effects of airflow and vibration to create stratification of seeds on the sieve bed. Higher-density, high-quality seeds sink to the bottom, flowing upwards along the sieve surface; while lower-density, inferior seeds (such as insect-damaged, moldy, and chaff) remain suspended on the surface, flowing downwards and ultimately exiting from different outlets. This sorting method effectively removes various impurities.
Workflow: Seeds are fed into the machine chamber via an elevator. First, dust is removed, and air separation occurs simultaneously. The seeds then pass through a first vibrating screen to remove large impurities, followed by a second vibrating screen to remove smaller impurities. Finally, they enter the gravity screen, where weight separation removes shriveled, broken, hollow, moldy, and weed seeds, among other impurities.
