UGOOD  5G-enabled smart rice processing system empowers rice mills with enhanced capabilities. From low-temperature milling that preserves freshness to automated packaging and robotic handling, the entire transformation of paddy into bags of premium-brand rice is digitally automated, featuring online inspection and computer- or mobile-based monitoring of key data. UGOOD's first 5G smart rice processing line in the Xiangbei region has successfully completed one year of operation at Jiwa Rice Industry. UGOOD’s newly developed smart rice processing system enables remote control, diagnostics, and commissioning, as well as real-time monitoring of color sorter operations and big data analysis; it automatically manages the startup and shutdown of all equipment based on processing requirements. In the event of equipment failure or a full buffer silo, the system automatically shuts down associated equipment to ensure an unobstructed material flow. Audio-visual alarms alert operators to any equipment malfunctions. With only two workers needed to operate the main and auxiliary lines, labor intensity is reduced and production efficiency is boosted; furthermore, starting and stopping equipment based on flow rates minimizes energy consumption. Because the system precisely monitors the processing workflow and collects real-time data, the rate of broken rice is reduced by 3%–4%, effectively increasing the yield of whole-grain rice. Additionally, the system facilitates low-temperature milling, significantly enhancing the rice's freshness and taste. The system boasts an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons. A standout feature is its online inspection capability, which automatically analyzes data regarding pesticide residues, heavy metal levels, and nutritional content—information that staff and management can view in real-time via computers or mobile phones.
